The location was everything - right next to the historic church and the beautiful beach of Tropea - literally a two minute walk away - and just a walk away from the historic centre. It really made staying in Tropea super easy to see and experience everything we wanted to! The staff were lovely - very welcoming and friendly, and while the accommodations were simple, they were clean, spacious and had a wonderful outdoor eating area, which also served as our hangout area. Definitely recommend!

After sleeping in hostels with other travelers, I really enjoyed having an entire room to myself. The facilities were nice and clean. I loved the location. It was close to the ocean (not an ocean view), and you could walk to go and watch the sunset from the beach. I had to check out much earlier than the times stated on Booking.com, and they made an arrangement with me about where to leave the key. I really appreciated their willingness to adapt to my travel schedule. The bathroom was great. The shower was a decent size, and the water was nice and hot. The bedding in the room is old-fashioned but clean and warm enough. There is nothing to complain about. I would say the images on Booking.com don't do the rooms justice (it's better inside than what it looks like from the images). There is air-conditioning in the room, which can be used when it is hot/cold weather outside. And they have a television that is connected to the internet.
